is a refereed academic journal examining the media.
Developments in communication areas are moving at such a
pace that Australian academics need a journal which allows
them to publish academic work relevant to current practices
before those practices become outdated or at least old
news. IDIOM 23
is dedicated to encouraging creative writing in Central
Queensland and beyond. It began life in 1987 as a magazine
produced by a small group of Central Queensland University
staff and students. It accepts contributions from poets,
short story writers and reviewers from the broader
commumnity. Idiom 23 is produced with the support of the
School of Contemporary Communications. |
