Global Media Journal : Australia

Global Media Journal was launched in the United States in 2002. This Australian edition focuses on Australia Pacific media issues. Regional editions are published in Chinese (China), Spanish (Latin America), Arabic (Middle East and North Africa), English (America; Australia). New Indian (English) and African editions (English and French) will be published in 2006. There are also Mediterranean, and Turkish editions. The general Global Media Journal is published bi-annually and is hosted by the Department of Communication and Creative Arts at Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, Indiana, USA.

eJournalist

eJournalist is a refereed academic journal examining the media. Developments in communication areas are moving at such a pace that Australian academics need a journal which allows them to publish academic work relevant to current practices before those practices become outdated or at least old news.

IDIOM 23

IDIOM 23 is dedicated to encouraging creative writing in Central Queensland and beyond. It began life in 1987 as a magazine produced by a small group of Central Queensland University staff and students. It accepts contributions from poets, short story writers and reviewers from the broader commumnity. Idiom 23 is produced with the support of the School of Contemporary Communications.
