Bachelor of Communications (Journalism)

Teaching methods: CQU journalism believes that practice should inform studies. Internal students engage in workshops, seminars, lectures or tutorials.

Assessment methods include projects, journalism production, essays, participation and in certain courses, examinations.

Learning resources for internal students at Rockhampton can include computers, mini disk recorders, digicams, a sound studio and lap tops.

Research Program

Master of Communications

This research degree allows students to conduct advanced research examining journalism, multimedia, communications, public relations or other media issues. Industry experience may be cited to enable admission. The degree can be articulated into a Doctorate.
