Kate Ames

Kate Ames has had over 10 year's experience in print and online publishing. Kate was a magazine editor and webmaster prior to working as a functional analyst in an IT context. She has had extensive experience as a freelance editor, writer, and photographer, and was an accredited photojournalist at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. She is a Public Affairs Officer with the Australian Army (Reserve), and is a professional photographer and editor in her spare time. Her research interests include content management, broadcasting technologies, and public affairs/media representation in sport and military contexts.
