Christina Hunt

Ms Hunt has a lifelong interest in film, news, current affairs, media, and documentaries. She began working in 1972 as a secretary in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Distributors. From 1975 to 1985, she worked as a film researcher at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in the Television Archives Department at Gore Hill Studios, Sydney. In 2002, as a result of her studies at Central Queensland University, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in Journalism and Media Studies. In 2004, she received her Bachelor of Communication with First Class Honours focusing on radical filmmakers. In 2005, Christina began to study for her PhD in Communication and Media focusing on analysing perspective in ABC documentary filmmaking from 1960 to 2000. .
